What are Aesthetic Services?
Aesthetics are designed to rejuvenate and cleanse your skin. Our aesthetic services are non-surgical, minimally-invasive alternatives to skin enhancement surgery and other extensive treatments. We currently offer multiple aesthetic services including Botox (neuromodulators), facial peels, fillers, coolifting, CryoClear, foot peels, latisse (longer eyelashes) and sclerotherapy (spider veins). Below is an alphabetical list of the aesthetic services we provide at Korber Eyecare & Surgery Center. Call today to learn more from our certified plastic surgery RN, Betty Tate, or keep up with her on Facebook.
Botox Cosmetic (Allergan) and Xeomin (Merz) are used to decrease muscle movement that creates wrinkles. We most commonly apply these treatments between the brows, across the forehead, and around the eyes, or “crows feet”. To learn more about how you can eliminate wrinkles, call us today.
We have several fillers available for your specific needs; most of the fillers contain numbing ingredients. We also provide topical numbing agent and dental blocks for lip injections if necessary. Speak with our RN to learn more about filler products.
In order to treat and eliminate varicose and spider veins, leave it to us. We inject a solution directly into the vein to cause it to shrink. Our certified plastic surgery nurse RN is highly skilled and confident that she can make your spider veins virtually disappear. Speak with us to learn more about this therapy.
This treatment will definitely rejuvenate and renew your skin’s surface. Some of the results clients see are wrinkle reduction, increased hydration, skin radiance and overall lifting of the skin. The results are readily seen after one treatment. Speak with our certified plastic surgery RN to learn more.
If you have age spots, sun spots, skin tags, hyper-pigmentation or non-vascular lesions, we highly recommend CryoClear to treat those conditions. This treatment works beautifully to heal your skin. The application is quick, painless and very effective.
To keep your skin youthful, we offer two retinol-based peels, the vitalize peel and the rejuvenize peel. The peel begins 48 hours after receiving treatment, and then the skin continues to peel for approximately three to five days. We can do your peel once or schedule the peels every so often to fit your skin needs.
Our Baby Foot peel is a take-home peel, done at your leisure, with one hour of relaxing peel application. The feet begin to peel approximately a week after application and will continue to peel for about another week.
Latisse is designed to treat an inadequate amount or loss of eyelashes by gradually encouraging growth of longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes. Treatment is regular application at the lash line on the upper lid.
Micro-needling (Collagen Induction Therapy)
Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), or micro-needling, is the procedure by which the body’s natural response to healing is used to increase the amount of extracellular matrix such as collagen or elastin in the skin. Micro-needling creates micro-channels that allow for leakage of blood, serum, and lymph in a controlled and temporary manner. These “injuries” are enough to initiate the wound-healing cascade.
